Welcome to East Carteret High School!

Your counselor is assigned according to your last name:

• Grades 9-12:  A – L are assigned to Mrs. Elizabeth Kappel
• Grades 9-12:  M – Z are assigned to Ms. Sandy Treadway
• Ms. Crystal Bailey is our CTE Specialist who can answer all of your questions concerning Career and Technical Education. 
• Ms. Jessica Anderson is our Twilight Coordinator who can answer your questions about credit recovery during and after the regular school day. 
• Ms. Bridget Brummett is our Registrar who will send your transcripts to colleges and provide the documentation you need to secure your driver’s license.

Although counselors are assigned alphabetically, you do not need to change your last name to change your counselor!  All you have to do is to ASK…and the counselors do not take it personally since they both serve several students throughout the alphabet.  The designation is to ensure that someone is helping you make it through all of the courses you need to graduate.
